NAL - Naktuinbouw Accredited Laboratories
NAL is an accreditation system for private seed laboratories. The purpose of the system is achieving, maintaining and accrediting the required level of reliability in seed laboratories. Standards are very high, which must be expressed in a high level of effectiveness and efficiency.
A properly functioning seed laboratory is essential in disputes involving liability. NAL impacts on all critical aspects of testing seed quality: sampling prior to testing, the quality assurance management system at the laboratory, the expertise of the analysts, the protocols and issuing the results via NAL quality certificates.
NAL aims to create the greatest positive effect for the seed laboratory, with 'one stop testing' being the ultimate, ideal situation. This means that customers accept the test results of NAL accredited laboratories without the intervention of third parties, such as state laboratories.
